Heartline Staffing is recruiting Architects and Architectural Designers at multiple experience levels for a full-time opportunity in downtown Binghamton, New York. This opportunity is with a multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and surveying firm where architectural professionals collaborate directly with in-house engineering teams on a diverse portfolio of educational, municipal, commercial, industrial, residential, and interior design projects.

The firm welcomes candidates ranging from early-career architectural designers seeking mentorship and support toward licensure to experienced Project Architects prepared to lead complex projects, client relationships, and project teams.

COMPENSATION
• $60,000-$95,000

ROLE
• Create Architectural Designs, Floor Plans And 3D Renderings
• Support Commercial, Industrial And Residential Design Projects
• Produce Detailed Construction Drawings And Specifications
• Develop As-Built Plans
• Utilize AutoCAD And Revit For Architectural Documentation
• Coordinate With In-House Civil, Structural And Environmental Engineers
• Develop Integrated Multidisciplinary Design Solutions
• Ensure Designs Comply With New York State Building Codes
• Ensure Compliance With ADA Requirements And Local Zoning Ordinances
• Conduct Project Site Visits
• Review Construction Submittals
• Perform Building Inspections
• Confirm Construction Aligns With Design Intent
• Participate In Client And Project Meetings
• Lead Client Meetings Based On Experience Level
• Develop Project Scopes Based On Experience Level
• Manage Project Budgets And Schedules Based On Experience Level
• Provide Guidance To Staff, Interns Or Project Teams Based On Experience Level

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Architecture From An Accredited Program REQUIRED
• Proficiency In AutoCAD REQUIRED
• Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills REQUIRED
• Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team Environment REQUIRED
• Strong Attention To Design Accuracy And Detail REQUIRED
• Commitment To High-Quality Project Delivery REQUIRED
• U.S. Citizenship Or Permanent Residency REQUIRED

Preferred

• Experience With Revit Preferred
• Experience With Adobe Creative Suite Preferred
• Registered Architect (RA) Licensure In New York State Or Active Pursuit Of Licensure Preferred
• LEED AP Certification Preferred
• Knowledge Of Or Strong Interest In Sustainable Design Principles Preferred
• K-12 Architecture Experience Preferred
• Municipal Architecture Experience Preferred
