Overview

Publicis Re:Sources is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst with 10-15 years of work experience to join our IT Business Intelligence & Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Power BI, Azure Data Factory or Synapse Pipelines solutions and eco-system. The Senior Technical person will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements, designing and implementing solutions, and providing insights to drive business decisions. It will also include engaging with Finance & other domain users and owners, and collaborate with the rest of the IT team to deliver business insights leveraging available Analytics tools including Power BI for a global multinational organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document and analyze business requirements for Power BI reports and dashboards
• Design, develop, test, and deploy end to end data analytics Power BI solutions (including data engineering) and work with client to generate and maintain visually appealing and insightful reports
• Work closely across time-zones with colleagues in IT team to design, develop and support Power BI data visualizations and to ensure data accuracy, data integrity, and efficient data processing in Power BI
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions to ensure quality and reliability
• Provide training and support to end users on how to utilize Power BI reports effectively
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Power BI
• Responsible for end to end delivery of solution and business communication
• Build data models and develop dashboards using Power BI desktop
• Create custom visualization and implement row level security on data
• Develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards
• Use advance level calculations on the data set using DAX functions in Power BI
• Test formulas and visualizations to ensure their functionality
• Develop and manage data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Synapse Pipelines for data movement and transformation
• Experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, and integrating various data formats (e.g., JSON, Parquet)
• Preferred domain Financial and HR data
• Oversee all operational aspects of the tenant, standards, user adoption, operational configuration management, performance, security, platform vision, and platform support.
• Navigate and manage relationships within a complex multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics.
• Minimum of 4 years of technical experience working with Power BI & Azure
• Microsoft certifications in Power BI, Azure
• Strong knowledge and experience with Power BI & Azure on financial & HR domain data
• Experience with Power BI & Azure is highly desirable including Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, and integrating various data formats (e.g., JSON, Parquet)
• Willingness to learn and contribute to business intelligence
• Ability to effectively collaborate and work in a team environment

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to navigate and manage relationships within a global organization
