Supervises, coordinates, and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department priorities. Reviews production schedules and determines material required or overdue and locates material. Develops work schedules and assigns work to subordinates. Reviews incoming and outgoing shipments for correctness of amount and type of materials. Arranges with department supervisors for transportation of materials to various departments. Prepare status report for management. Recommends measures to improve production methods and quality of service and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency. Interprets company policies and enforces safety regulations. May hire, train, evaluate employee performance, and recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

Supervisor Duties specific to CCEP5

·         Personnel Management: Directly supervise 50+ personnel. Ensure daily accountability of personnel and tasks performed.

·         Asset Accountability: Manage weapons, sensitive equipment, and associated gear , ensuring proper custody, security, and readiness.

·         Maintenance & Repair: Oversee service and repair of tens of thousands of weapons and equipment items, ensuring operational readiness.

·         Security & Compliance: Enforce security protocols, maintain access control, and ensure compliance with Army and installation security policies.

·         Operational Readiness: Ensure equipment is available and functional for training and mission support.

·         Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports for equipment status, maintenance, and inventory.

·         Personnel management

o   Verifying time and attendance and approving weekly attendance for payroll

o   Review and approve employee PTO

o   Evaluate employee performance/behavior

Work Environment

The CCEP is located within Fort Benning’s Directorate of Training Sustainment facilities

The role is onsite and requires:

·         Driver’s license with star/Real ID

·         Background checks and installation access clearance.

·         Security clearance in line with Army requirements.

·         Ability to work standard business hours with on‐call support for emergencies.

·         Must be able to be on-call for security and readiness

·         Must be able to work extended hours

·         Meet company and contract drug free workplace standards

Experience/Knowledge

·         10-15 years of leadership experience with Army programs processing inspection, service, repair of weapons, optics, fire control items.

·         Must have working knowledge of Army property management system and Logistic Information Systems to include Global Combat Support System – Army.

·         Must be able to meet Army personnel reliability screening and evaluation.

·         May be required to obtain a Secret clearance.
