While the role is primarily remote, our outpatient office in Columbus, Georgia, serves as a hub for in-person consultations as needed. You will have access to cutting-edge digital technology and comprehensive administrative support to help facilitate your therapeutic work.
Key Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will engage with clients primarily through telemedicine but will also have opportunities for in-person sessions as appropriate. Your core responsibilities include:

- Conducting assessments and developing treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of families and individuals. \n
- Facilitating therapy sessions with couples and families, and providing individual sessions when required. \n
- Addressing complex emotional and relational issues such as alcohol abuse, family conflicts, grief and loss, and communication difficulties. \n
- Providing support to blended families and assisting clients in navigating separation and divorce adjustments. \n
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care. \n
- Documenting progress notes and treatment outcomes in compliance with organizational standards. \n
- Participating in regular supervision and team meetings to share insights and continuous improvement strategies. \n
You will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families grappling with various mental health challenges. Your skill set will be vital in addressing both general and specific issues, such as job-related stress, physical or psychological abuse, and family member conflicts. At Soul Scape, your role as a therapist directly contributes to empowering clients towards healthier relationships and improved mental health outcomes.
Qualifications\nTo be a successful candidate for the LMFT position, you must possess the following qualifications:

- A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field. \n
- An active state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). \n
- Proficient understanding of family dynamics and therapy techniques tailored to different age groups. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate effective therapy sessions. \n
- Dedication to maintaining a high standard of clinical practice. \n
While newly licensed candidates are encouraged to apply, we also prefer candidates with experience working in outpatient settings, particularly those with a focus on family therapy. Experience in telehealth practices is an advantage, as we value flexibility in meeting our clients' needs.
