# Job Opportunity – Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Humble, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Rotating shifts (day, mid, and night shifts available); rotating weekends required (4 weekend days per schedule, Saturday and Sunday)

Highlights:

• 9-bed freestanding pediatric emergency department with a collaborative team environment
• Patient ratios of 4:1 based on acuity, with 1:1 available for critical cases
• EMR system: Meditech Expanse
• Perform a full range of pediatric emergency procedures including IV placement, EKGs, moderate sedation, point-of-care lab testing, and triage
• Opportunity to float to additional emergency departments for diverse clinical experience
• Small team structure with 3 RNs per shift plus mid-shift support

Requirements:

• Current Texas RN license
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS certifications required
• Strong IV skills, EKG proficiency, and triage acuity training required
• ENPC and CPI certifications preferred
• Experience with point-of-care laboratory equipment and pediatric emergency care strongly preferred
• Team-oriented with flexibility in assignments
