Job Description: Our client is looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist who will safeguard our organization's computer systems and networks, ensuring that all data stored and transmitted is protected from unauthorized access and potential breaches. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, system administration, and risk management. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement cost-effective cybersecurity policies and protocols to protect company assets. Monitor cybersecurity budgets and ensure the efficient allocation of resources. Identify and manage financial risks associated with potential cyber threats. Collaborate with clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and provide tailored solutions. Ensure high customer satisfaction by delivering robust and reliable security measures. Conduct regular client reviews to assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity strategies and address concerns. Monitor and secure networks and systems from unauthorized access, modifications, or destruction. Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify security weaknesses. Manage incident response protocols, including investigating security breaches and developing strategies for potential threats. Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including policies, procedures, and incident reports. Stay current with the latest cybersecurity threats and countermeasures. Conduct training sessions for staff to enhance cybersecurity awareness and best practices. Participate in professional development opportunities to advance skills and knowledge in cybersecurity. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
- Additional certifications in network and system administration are highly desirable.
