Licensed Practical NurseLicensed Practical Nurse assume responsibility and accountability for assigned patients. Licensed practical nurses provide nursing services to assure resident safety and attain or maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident, as determined by resident assessment and implementing plan of care.Shift: 12-hour day shift (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)Essential Key Job ResponsibilitiesUtilize nursing process which includes patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning of nursing care, implementing interventions, and evaluation of patient status in relationship to aboveExecutes regimen prescribed by physician within guidelines of nursing practicePerforms and/or supervises activities/functions which require knowledge and skill level currently ascribed to the licensed practical nurse and seeks assistance when these are beyond scope of preparationProvides leadership and direction in the supervision of others in carrying out the nursing processMinimum QualificationsGraduate of approved Nursing schoolRequired Licensure and Certifications Current LPN license in State of IowaCurrent basic Life Support for Healthcare providers from American heart Association Dependent Adult Mandatory reporter training 30 days upon hire and recertification every 5 years.
