Personal Trainer for Adults with Developmental Disabilities - Newbury Park

Your Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and teach proper exercise techniques

• Participate in community outings using company vans or public transportation

• Collaborate with participants and colleagues on personalized workout plans

• Motivate participants to reach fitness goals in a fun and safe manner

• Assist Yoga classes

• Participate in community outings using company vans or public transportation

Who We’re Looking For

• Someone who is compassionate with a person-centered mindset

• Someone who is encouraging, able to guide, and support participants in a respectful manner

• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

• CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified)

• Certified by : NASM, ACSM, ACE, or NSCA (required)

• Knowledge of anatomy & physiology, functional exercises, and basic nutrition.

• Weekend Availability (Is a plus but not required)

Note: This role requires the ability to move and lift up 35 Ibs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time.

Employment Information

• Location: Newbury Park

• Full & Part-Time: $20 / hour, Internships are available

• Mileage reimbursement

• $10/month cell phone stipend

• Mornings and Afternoons
