Registered Nurse (RN) in Behavioral Health

Urgent need; candidate must be available to start as soon as possible. Providing quality health care to the surrounding areas for 60 years. The facility employs more than 1,000 employees and 300 physicians. It is fully accredited and governed by a local board of trustees. The healthcare facility is a 167-bed Level III Trauma Center. All clinical staff on assignment must be checked against the Tennessee Abuse Registry prior to the start date. Results are required prior to beginning work. The unit consists of 12 beds with a patient ratio of 1:6. Electronic Health Record (EHR) system used is Meditech. Supervision is provided by the Director of Behavioral Health. Common diagnoses include Alzheimer's, behavioral disturbance, failure to thrive, depression, and suicidal ideation. Preferred skill set includes experience in geriatric psychiatry and medical floor experience. Personality fit should be team-oriented.
