Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatologist to join their established team of 4 neonatologists and 5 NNPs in Springfield, MO. Practice Info Well-established team of 4 neonatologists and 5 NNPs Manageable Level III NICU with a 46-bed, single-room design and an average census of 25 Approximately 450 admits/year with 10% under 1500 grams In-house 24/7 NNP coverage (minimum 5 years' Level III experience) Hospital-employed pediatricians handle routine newborn care NICU is equipped with high-frequency oscillators, jet ventilators, iNO, total body cooling with 24/7 video EEG and pediatric neurology support, POCUS with bedside ultrasound, donor milk + dedicated milk tech preparation of feedings, EPIC and Baby Steps Cloud EMRs Responsibilities Care for a balanced-mix of patients without the high-volume burnout In-house daytime coverage (8 a.m. - 4 p.m.) of primary patients and supervision of half of NNP patients (Primary neonatologist role) At-home backup for in-house NNP overnight (Primary neonatologist role) Attend high-risk deliveries ( Competitive compensation package Many locations offering sign-on bonuses and relocation Benefits ~ Medical ~ Dental ~ Vision ~ Life ~ Disability ~ Healthcare FSA ~ Dependent Care FSA ~ HSAs ~401k plan ~ Employee Stock Purchase Program Shift & Schedule Flexible scheduling, including full-time or part-time Full-Time: ~2 weeks/month alternating between primary and backup neonatologist roles Requirements ~ BC/BE in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
