Call Center Agent

We are a family-oriented company that supports you, your family, and your work life balance. As a growing practice we are seeking a Call Center Agent. As the first point of contact for patients calling our clinic, our call center agents are integral members of our team. Our call center agents are the hub of communication for our clinic and coordinate needed care for our patients.
Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with scheduling appointments and provides general clinic information.
• Direct all incoming calls to appropriate departments, utilize EMR for messaging and paging systems according to procedure.
• Provide superior customer service to patients, co-workers, physicians by responding with courtesy, helpfulness, and being respectful and pleasant at all times.
• Respond to emergency calls within established guidelines and procedures.
• Maintain work area, order and stock supplies as needed.
• Maintain patient and clinic confidentiality.
• Perform other projects and duties as related to clinic and Patient Relations Department objectives and other related work as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a clinic setting preferred
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, staff, and others involved with patient care
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. We offer a generous paid time off plan, in addition to a suite of employee benefits.
