Endur Application Support Analyst

Are you a hands‑on technologist who thrives on the trading floor? We're looking for a seasoned Application Support Analyst to join a fast‑moving commodities trading organization in Houston, keeping mission‑critical systems running at peak performance. At the same time, markets are live on a contract basis. What You’ll Be Doing Providing real‑time support for trading and live position applications—resolving trade booking issues, diagnosing P&L anomalies, and managing pricing feeds Supporting the full CTRM ecosystem (OpenLink Endur) across intraday and end‑of‑day cycles, ensuring accurate data flows to ledger and credit management systems Configuring risk measures, managing compliance interfaces, and taking corrective action on invoicing and settlement issues Owning time‑critical batch processes—root‑cause analysis, database performance tuning, and system debugging when things go wrong Acting as the communication bridge between traders, vendors, and technology teams during incidents and change events What We’re Looking For 5+ years in IT with at least 3 years directly in energy trading—ideally supporting a live trading floor Strong, demonstrable experience with OpenLink Endur, specifically North American Gas and Power markets Hands‑on knowledge of Endur OpenJVS scripting; proficiency in Java, .NET, or similar is a strong plus Deep understanding of the North American Gas and Power trade life cycle, ISO power markets, and FTR trade booking Advanced SQL and database diagnostic skills— you can read and analyze complex scripts independently A communicator who stays calm under pressure, manages competing priorities, and keeps stakeholders informed You’ll be embedded at the heart of the trading operation, collaborating across geographies, interfacing directly with traders and business leads, and solving complex problems that have real, immediate business impact.
