- Patient Safety Associate, per diemWinchester, MA • Winchester Hospital • Per Diem • RotatingShare job:Apply now**When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives.****Job Description:***Winchester Hospital is a 5x Magnet designated, Top 10 Massachusetts recognized 223-bed regional hospital that is the leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area.*As part of the Patient Care Services team, this position performs the following tasks under the direction of a RN:* Watches over patients that have been designated as a risk-to-self.* Assists patients with walking.* Effectively communicates with all members of the patient care team throughout the shiftand completes a thorough and comprehensive handoff with the other Patient Safety Associates and RNs.* Assists in the patient’s meal and nourishment, by setting up trays, feeding the patientand/or assisting the patient in eating.* Engages patients and family members in conversation and provides basic emotionalsupport.* Assists patients in the set up of personal and oral hygiene needs and dressing.* Keeps the room clean and tidy to improve the patient’s and family member’s experience.**Education:****Preferred:** High School Diploma or equivalent**Other Skills/Knowledge:****Required:**Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
