J. Blanton Plumbing is experiencing rapid growth and is actively expanding our Sewer Sales Division . As part of this expansion, we are looking to connect with Sewer Sales Consultants , Advisors, and In-Home Sales Professionals who are ready to leverage their skills in a more stable, year-round, high-ticket sales environment .

Position Overview

The I n-home Sales Consultant i s a high-ticket, in-home consultative sales position designed for experienced sales professionals who are confident managing the full sales process from the initial customer appointment through close .

The ideal candidate is comfortable meeting homeowners face-to-face, understanding their needs, presenting tailored solutions, handling objections, creating urgency, and confidently closing the sale.

No prior plumbing or sewer sales experience is required. We provide comprehensive training to teach the technical aspects of sewer systems and prepare successful sales professionals to transition into the role.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct in-home, consultative sales appointments with homeowners
• Assess customer needs and recommend high-ticket sewer solutions
• Present clear options and guide customers through confident buying decisions
• Own the sales process from initial consultation through close
• Build trust, rapport, and long-term customer relationships
• Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure smooth job execution

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of sales experience , preferably in outside or in-home sales.
• Proven experience selling directly to customers face-to-face.
• Experience working with high-ticket products or services.
• Experience being a sales closer , rather than simply taking over an appointment after someone else identified the problem.
• Experience closing customers during the initial appointment.
• Strong communication, presentation, and objection-handling skills.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and establish trust with homeowners.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to carry approximately 40 lbs. up and down stairs.
• Willingness to learn the technical side of sewer systems and residential plumbing.

• In-home residential sales experience
• Proven success in consultative, face-to-face sales environments
• Experience presenting options (good / better / best)
• Strong communication, professionalism, and closing ability
• Valid driver’s license
• Comfortable with a 100% Commission Environment
• No prior sewer sales experience required, we train you .
