Pay rate: $25/hr.

Position Overview

The CFS Production Lead is responsible for coordinating and driving day-to-day production activities within the Configuration & Fulfillment Services (CFS) environment. This role ensures efficient execution of device configuration, asset tagging, imaging, testing, and order fulfillment processes to meet customer delivery timelines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

The Production Lead serves as the primary point of contact on the shop floor, aligning production priorities, managing workflow across provisioning stations, and ensuring throughput targets are achieved. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production Execution & Workflow Management

  • Coordinate daily production activities across provisioning benches including imaging, configuration, asset tagging, testing, and packing readiness.
  • Prioritize work based on customer SLAs, order volume, and operational deadlines.
  • Monitor workflow to ensure smooth progression from intake to shipment.

Throughput & SLA Performance

  • Drive production output to meet or exceed daily and weekly throughput targets.
  • Ensure all orders are completed within defined SLA timelines.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks impacting production flow.

Shop Floor Leadership

  • Act as the lead on the production floor, providing direction to technicians and operators.
  • Assign tasks and manage workload distribution across the team.
  • Provide real-time support and escalation management during production issues.

Quality & Process Control

  • Ensure all devices meet configuration, imaging, and quality standards prior to shipment.
  • Enforce adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production errors.

System & Data Accuracy

  • Ensure accurate tracking of production activities in systems such as SAP, ServiceNow, or shop floor tools (e.g., Tulip).
  • Maintain visibility into order status, production progress, and completion metrics.
  • Support reporting on throughput, backlog, and performance KPIs.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner with warehouse, logistics, engineering, and operations teams to ensure alignment between material availability and production demand.
  • Coordinate with intake and scheduling teams to align production plans with incoming orders.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency, reduce cycle time, and increase throughput.
  • Support Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in implementing new workflows, tools, and automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in production, manufacturing, or fulfillment operations.
  • Experience leading teams in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of workflow management and production processes.
