Logistician Position in Charleston, SCGeodesicx, Inc. is in search of an adept Logistician in the Charleston, SC area to play a vital role in a significant vehicular C4ISR/EW initiative, incorporating expertise in systems such as Rational Asset Manager, Rational Team Concert, and CMPro. This position is essential for managing and streamlining logistics operations, ensuring efficient allocation, distribution, and monitoring of resources in support of the project's intricate technological framework.Responsibilities:Procurement, management, and distribution of critical resources, covering hardware, software, and digital assets.Proficiency in managing digital assets through Rational Asset Manager and overseeing workflows in Rational Team Concert is crucial. Additionally, expertise in CMPro is vital for ensuring effective version control and management of deliverables within the project's logistics framework.The role demands close collaboration with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely acquisition and delivery of resources, aligning with project timelines.Coordinate logistics for various project teams, including those utilizing CMPro, Rational Team Concert, and other systems for Software Design Reviews, Requirement Review Boards, and Engineering Review Boards. Understanding the specific resource requirements for these systems and ensuring their efficient provision is a key aspect of this role.Candidates must demonstrate a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, particularly in supporting high-tech systems like CMPro, Rational Asset Manager, and Rational Team Concert.Strong organizational skills, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and adaptability to fast-paced and changing project requirements are essential.The Logistician's contribution is critical to the smooth functioning of the C4ISR/EW systems, directly impacting the project's success and its alignment with the goals of the sponsoring organization.The ability to manage complex logistics operations effectively will be a key determinant of success in this position.Requirements:Logistician IIBachelor's DegreeThree (3) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes.Experience shall include at least one (1) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, and Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures.Experience may be achieved simultaneously.Specific Experience: Individual shall have Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational/Level 1; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional one (1) year (i.e., total 4 years' minimum experience) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.Logistician IIIBachelor's DegreeSeven (7) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes.Experience shall include at least four (4) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.Experience may be achieved simultaneously.Specific Experience: Individual shall have Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Foundational/Level 2; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional two (2) year (i.e., total 9 years' minimum experience) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.Logistician IVMaster's or Bachelor's DegreeTen (10) years with Master's or 14 years with Bachelor's degree of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes.Experience shall include at least six (6) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines.Experience supervising Logistics Specialists.Experience may be achieved simultaneously.Specific Experience: Individual shall have Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Advanced/Level 3; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional three (3) year (i.e., total 13 years' minimum experience with Master's or 17 years with Bachelor's degree) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.Security Clearance: Must be eligible to hold and maintain SECRET clearance.
