Maintenance Technician

Entry Level, Learn Maintenance!We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The role involves performing maintenance tasks, creating preventative maintenance plans, and working with various equipment such as motors, gearboxes, and molds. The technician will utilize hand and power tools, read blueprints and schematics, troubleshoot PLCs, and work with 480v and 3-phase systems.Responsibilities:Perform maintenance tasks in a manufacturing facility.Create and implement preventative maintenance plans.Change out motors, gearboxes, and molds as required.Utilize hand and power tools effectively.Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.Troubleshoot PLCs as needed.Work with 480v and 3-phase systems.Essential Skills:Minimum of 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.Mechanical troubleshooting experience.Ability to read blueprints.Experience in changing out motors, gearboxes, and molds.PLC troubleshooting and experience with 480v systems is a plus.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with injection mold machines is a plus.Possession of a journeyman card is beneficial.Why Work Here?Join a union-based company that offers excellent benefits and protections. Forklift training is also provided.Work Environment:Work in a large Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility with over 150 employees, featuring automated injection molding processes, assembly lines, and seating lines. The facility operates three shifts: 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a, with the possibility of overtime. Employees may be moved shifts based on seniority. The work environment includes a 20-minute paid lunch and two 10-minute paid breaks, with all breaks taken on-site where vending services are available. A designated smoking area is provided for breaks.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delphos, OH.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $38.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
