Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or related field
• Current certification as Medical Technologist (MT/MLS or MLT) through ASCP or AMT
• Experience in blood banking required; heavy blood bank background highly desirable
• Phlebotomy experience preferred
• Ability to work nights and flexible with rotating weekend coverage
• Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and commitment to quality standards

Responsibilities:

• Perform a full range of laboratory tests in accordance with quality and safety standards
• Carry out blood banking duties including blood typing, compatibility testing, and antibody identification
• Process and analyze specimens using both manual and automated techniques
• Accurately document and report test results to clinical staff in a timely manner
• Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed, ensuring specimen integrity
• Adhere to standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements
