Storeroom Attendant

Roles & Responsibilities

• Unload, receive, and put away incoming product, goods, tools, and/or equipment; unpack bales/crates/containers; check for damage and invoice discrepancies
• Sort, label, move, and store items per predetermined sequence (size, style, product codes); optimize crib space
• Issue product, goods, tools, and/or equipment to site employees; maintain accurate records of issued/returned items
• Enter data into database/computerized systems to maintain stock records; retrieve information for inquiries (inventory levels, delivery schedules); document discrepancies on error logs
• Request requisitions to replenish inventory
• Assist with inventory maintenance, perform cycle counts, and prepare report results
• Inspect and measure tools/equipment for defects/wear; report damage to supervisors
• Prepare periodic or perpetual inventory of supplies and equipment
• Deliver tools/equipment to associate work locations using pallet jack and push cart
• Load vending machines and Point-of-Use (POU) areas throughout the building
• Investigate and locate lost or misplaced equipment/safety supplies
• Repair, service, and lubricate tools/equipment as required
• Perform other related duties as requested

Experience Required

• 3+ months of relevant experience and/or training
• Experience loading, unloading, picking, packing, or moving goods in a warehouse environment

Skills & Certifications

• Storeroom/inventory management
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office; Vista, Control, SX.e, Prophet 21 – preferred); basic Excel experience helpful
• Basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide; rate/ratio/percent computation preferred)
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Team collaboration and self-motivation

Eligibilities & qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent – preferred (not required)
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work orders, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Attention to detail and safety-minded approach
• Steel toe shoes required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs or greater with assistance following SOPs
• Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, crawl, climb, and balance regularly
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required
• May be required to pass warehouse equipment certifications (written and/or driving)
• Availability for varying/rotating shifts, overtime, evenings, and weekends with little to no advance notice
