Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Infusion

Role: Registered Nurse providing comprehensive patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on oncology and general nursing duties. Responsibilities Develop and implement nursing care plans based on patient assessments and physician prescriptions. Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed. Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant environment following infection control and safety protocols. Document patient care accurately in medical records. Manage and troubleshoot patient care equipment and supplies. Provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and families. Qualifications & Skills Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the practice state. Ability to perform essential job functions, including effective communication and visual acuity. Certifications in Oncology Nursing (ONS Fundamentals and Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Cards) within specified timeframes. Preferred: Prior oncology experience.
