Neonatal Intensive Care RN - Sanger, California

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent NICU experience
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused during emergencies
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication and documentation abilities
• Adaptability to rapidly changing patient needs

Responsibilities:

• Delivering safe and compassionate nursing care to neonates with varying levels of acuity
• Monitoring vital signs, managing ventilatory/respiratory support, and administering medications as ordered
• Collaborating with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals on comprehensive care plans
• Educating and supporting families through complex medical information and procedures
• Maintaining accurate patient records and participating in shift handoff reports
• Upholding infection control standards and safety protocols within the NICU

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts may be available depending on current needs
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required
