HR Coordinator & Recruiter – TalentZok

Immediate opening for an HR Coordinator & Recruiter in San Pedro, CA who possesses:

• HR Experience (Recruiting & Coordination) - 3+ yrs
• Bachelor's degree - Human Resources or Business Related
• HRIS/ATS - Ideally ADP Workforce Now/MS Office Suites
• Bilingual Spanish

FULL DESCRIPTION :

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

• Partner with hiring managers to define staffing needs and role requirements
• Create and maintain job descriptions
• Source candidates using job boards, networks, and social media (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter)
• Screen candidates and present qualified applicants to hiring managers
• Support interviews and selection decisions
• Maintain consistent candidate communication to ensure a positive experience
• Assist with offer preparation, approvals, and communication

Recruiting Coordination & Administration

• Schedule and coordinate interviews
• Maintain accurate records in ADP Workforce Now or other ATS
• Manage pre-employment processes (background checks, references, documentation)
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies
• Support onboarding (orientation scheduling, documentation, coordination with payroll/benefits)
• Track hiring progress and provide status updates
• Maintain recruiting data and assist with reporting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill)

HR Operations Support

• Assist with onboarding and new hire integration
• Support training coordination for new roles
• Conduct 30-60-90 day check-ins with managers and new hires
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Support HR projects and initiatives

The selected candidate will also possess:

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in HRIS/ATS (ADP Workforce Now preferred) and Microsoft Office

Salary Range: $30.00 - $35.00/hour
