Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients at the detox center to identify their social, emotional, and environmental challenges impacting their recovery journey.

  • Develop individualized service plans that outline goals, prescribed interventions, and methods for progress monitoring to ensure effective support tailored to each client's needs.

  • Provide individual and group counseling to clients experiencing a variety of issues related to substance abuse and recovery.
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with clients to devise personalized service plans, linking them with community resources that will aid their recovery.

  • Implement crisis intervention strategies, conduct risk assessments, and develop safety plans to address emerging client needs effectively.
  • \n
  • Engage with local community agencies and organizations, advocating for clients and facilitating coordinated cross-agency services that enhance client support.

  • Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting agency services and raising awareness of support available for individuals in recovery.
  • \n
  • Attend and contribute to case conferences, regular team meetings, and ongoing staff training to enhance skills and knowledge within the team.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification, many of whom may be facing significant life challenges. These can include co-occurring mental health issues, trauma histories, and socioeconomic barriers. Your role will involve not merely addressing immediate needs but also empowering clients towards sustainable recovery and social reintegration.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

  • Current active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

Compensation and Benefits\n
