Job Description: High acuity, non ICU position / specialty: dietitian. Daily case load: 6-10 per day. Years of experience required: 2 years experience required in ICU and nutrition support including custom PN managing macros and micros. First-timers accepted: Yes. Weekend requirement: M-F. BLS required: No. Is on-call required? No. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No. Open to accommodating block schedule? Not guaranteed. Locals accepted: No locals within 100 miles. Pending state license accepted: Yes. RTO restrictions: Greater than 7 days needs approval. Guaranteed hours: Contracted hours (36/48/40) per week, facility is allowed to call off 3x.

Skills Required: 2 years experience in ICU and nutrition support including custom PN managing macros and micros. Unit details: Provide MNT to adult patients in both acute care and progressive floors in a level one trauma center. Manage nutrition support, including EN and PN, both macros and micros in custom formulas. Provide diet education on a variety of disease states. Engage in plan of care rounds with interdisciplinary team. Effectively communicate with providers/teams via messaging system.

Travel Compliance Document Due Date: 10 days prior to start. Required: begin compliance within 1 2 weeks of signing. Required: drug screen within 30 days of start. RTO: Max 7 days preferred. 1 holiday preferred. No RTO during first 7 days of contract or last day of contract. Marketing submissions: Not permitted. No locals: 100-mile radius. Non-local DL required on file. Licensure certifications: most may pend at submission. RQI certifications not accepted. Shifts: 12-hour shifts. Ask: Most units offer 36 or 48 hours. Experience: 1-2 years minimum. Can screen: some units may consider less. Length: 10 weeks minimum (New & Ext). Limits: After 1 year or 4 consecutive contracts, 6-month system break required (whichever occurs first). Return (Perm) staff: 12-month separation required. Modules: Billable up to 4 hours. Additional time is non-billable. EKG testing: Pass/Fail, 2 tries max; 6-month system DNR if failed 2x. See special instructions for list of units. Behavioral health and related positions: Travelers without MOAB certification must pass an in-person MOAB training during orientation week or contract will be terminated. PCU, ICU and L&D units: 36 or 48 hour contracts available. Include traveler preference at submission. OT: must be approved by client before being worked. Preceptor pay: not offered. Eligibility: ER needs prior travel experience. 6-month break after 1 year or 4 assignments. Former staff: 12 months of separation required.
