Shift Leader

Shift Leader A Shift Leader is responsible for supporting the management team in running the assigned location. Responsibilities include: Coaching the staff to deliver amazing customer service; Producing high quality food; Delivering the Jersey Mike’s experience; Cash handling; Following the Learning Management System Training Program; Developing others for career growth; Enforcing policies and procedures; Participating in local and national marketing initiatives; Building sales; Maintaining cleanliness and proper sanitation; Being certified in all four positions of the restaurant; Effective communication; Having a sense of urgency. Expected Duties Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance unless medically noted; Work 38-40 hours per week; Be able to get to and from work; Communicate with GM/AGM/DM of any issues; Lead by example in food quality, customer interaction, and daily uniform presentation. Additional duties include: Create food consistent with Jersey Mikes high quality standards; Maintain restaurant cleanliness; Work in a fast‑paced, team‑driven atmosphere; Multi‑task with a sense of urgency; Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience; Understand accountability and integrity; Key Holder responsibilities; Perform opening and closing tasks; Bake bread and perform prep; Manage and lead crew of 2‑5 people; Proficient in slicing. Qualifications High school degree or equivalent; 1 Year QSR experience preferred; Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer; Food Handler (Serve Safe) certification; Reliable transportation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
