Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized critical care nursing for adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients in a Level III ICU setting. Ensure high-quality patient outcomes through expert clinical skills and adherence to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive patient care in a 12-hour night shift ICU environment.
• Monitor and respond to patient vital signs and clinical changes using Cerner EMR.
• Implement advanced interventions including trauma care, airway management, and medication administration.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adapt patient treatment plans.
• Document all clinical activities accurately and timely in the electronic health record system.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, licensure, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state RN license and ensure all credentials are current at time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Cerner EMR and ICU skills checklist.
• Provide a supervisory signed reference from within the past year.
• Maintain active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC preferred.
• Be able to work with a patient population including trauma, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
