Warehouse Specialist - Safe Handling & Flexible Schedule

Your Role at Batesville: As a Warehouse Associate , you will be responsible for the safe handling of shipments, proper care and handling of inventory, and various other warehouse duties as required. The expected pay for this role is $18.31 per hour. Unload inbound and load outbound caskets quickly, accurately, safely, and damage free. Keep a clean and organized work area. Perform various warehouse duties as requested. Operate various power equipment efficiently and safely. Other duties may be assigned. What You’ll Bring: 1-year prior warehouse or related experience. Basic computer skills. Ability to drive a truck within facility confines and learn how to spot trailers. Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met. Ability to lift and/or move miscellaneous equipment and product weighing up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally. Nice to Haves: Forklift experience is preferred. Ability to perform and interpret computer and RF functions. Ability to learn new skills at a fast pace.
