Special Education BIC Teacher - Pool (Monarch Academy) (K-6th & 7th-12th Grades)

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Special Education Director and school principal. The Special Education Teacher, Moderate/Severe will provide instruction, assessment and program planning for special education students with a primary disability of autism, mild to moderate to, and emotional disturbance; monitor and evaluate student progress and behavior; research, obtain and provide instructional materials for special education services; serve as an informational resource for students, parents, District personnel and community organizations; work within a pull out Learning Center environment or within a self-contained classroom.


These teaching positions may serve grades in our K-6th and/or grades 7th-12th grade BIC program for Monarch Academy, which is located in Mariposa, CA. The K-6th grades is located at the Woodland Elementary School. The 7th and 12th grade BIC classroom is close to the Mariposa County High School Campus.


This position is part of the Certificated Teacher Unit at MCUSD/MCOE and will be placed depending on experience and education on the Certificated Teacher Unit Employee Salary schedule.


PLEASE NOTE THE 2026-27 SALARY SCHEDULE IS PENDING - SALARY IS CURRENTLY BASED ON THE 2025-26 SALARY SCHEDULE.
