Locum Tenens Physician Oncology

Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Physician - Oncology
Location: Redding, CA .
Shift: Monday Friday, 8a 5p

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult Oncology/Hematology Patients
Setting: Hospital / Outpatient Chemotherapy & Infusion Center
Responsibilities: Provide diagnosis, staging, precision medicine, symptom management, and treatment for hematology and oncology patients. Oversee oncology/hematology clinic and infusion services and provide hospital consults as needed.
Required Procedures: Oncology and Hematology patient management including chemotherapy and infusion oversight
EMR System: iKnowMed (Clinic) and Cerner (Infusion Center)
Support Staff: Clinic RN, MAs, Front Office Staff, Quality Analyst/Billing Staff, and Infusion RNs
Days Per Month: Monday Friday coverage
On-Call/Weekends: Hospital consults with call as needed

Submission Requirements:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology Required
Active California Medical License Required
Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology Required
DEA Required
ACLS (Required only if requesting Moderate Sedation Privileges)
Self-Query NPDB Report within 30 days Required
