Seeking an experienced Insurance Account Representative to service and manage Commercial and/or Personal Lines accounts. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing policy changes, handling renewals, preparing certificates of insurance, and maintaining accurate client records.

The ideal candidate will have prior insurance agency experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial and/or Personal Lines Account Management

• Service assigned accounts and respond promptly to client requests.
• Process endorsements, renewals, cancellations, reinstatements, and new business submissions.
• Prepare and issue certificates of insurance, evidence of insurance, and related documentation.
• Review policies for accuracy and coverage adequacy.
• Assist clients with billing questions, claims reporting, and policy inquiries.
• Market accounts to insurance carriers when needed.
• Follow up on pending underwriting requirements and loss control items.
• Maintain detailed and accurate client records in the agency management system.

Customer Service

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal team members.
• Communicate professionally by phone, email, and in person.
• Provide timely and accurate insurance advice within licensing authority.

Administrative Duties

• Process carrier downloads and electronic correspondence.
• Maintain suspense and follow-up activities.
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Insurance experience in Commercial and/or Personal Lines.
• Strong knowledge of insurance coverages, endorsements, and policy servicing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills.

Licensing Requirements

• Must possess a valid Georgia Property & Casualty insurance license or
• Be able to obtain the required license within 90 days of hire .

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Commercial Lines certificates of insurance and endorsements.
• Familiarity with carrier websites and policy management systems.
• CISR designation or other insurance-related certifications are a plus.
