Occupational Therapist

Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess patients’ functional needs and abilities. Develop and implement individualized, patient-centered treatment plans focused on mobility, cognition, safety, and functional independence. Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary care team, including therapists, physicians, massage therapists, and acupuncturists, to support coordinated patient care. Educate patients and families on functional status, safety recommendations, therapeutic strategies, and equipment needs as appropriate. Accurately and promptly document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries in the electronic medical record (EMR). Maintain current professional knowledge, clinical skills, and best practices to provide high-quality, evidence-based treatment. Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives, including attending events and representing the practice professionally. Adhere to professional standards, practice policies, regulatory requirements, and infection control protocols.
