Hematology/Oncology Locums - Pontiac, Michigan Outpatient Clinic - Lapeer, MichiganAVAILABILITY

Start Date: September 14, 2026
Coverage: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Coverage Type: Outpatient clinic and clinic call
On-Call Requirement: Clinic call only
Reason for Coverage: Recruitment gap
Practice: 100% Adult Outpatient
Average Volume: 15-20 patients per day
Work Location: Lapeer, Michigan - REQUIRED
Important: Provider must understand they will physically work in Lapeer

LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS

Medical Oncology & Hematology Board Certification: REQUIRED
- Truly Board Eligible providers will be considered
BLS: REQUIRED
ACLS: REQUIRED
Michigan License: Active MI license REQUIRED
IMLC: Not accepted
Experience: Minimum 2 years
Cerner Experience: Preferred

CLINICAL REQUIREMENTS

Hematology outpatient care
Oncology outpatient care
Participation in tumor board
Adult outpatient practice
Clinic call as needed

PRACTICE & SUPPORT

EMR: Cerner
Cerner Familiarity: Preferred
Oncology and Hematology outpatient clinic
Previously a two-physician practice with NP assistance

Support Staff:

Oncology RNs
Medical Assistants
Social Worker
Dietitian
Nurse Navigator

Onsite Services:

Infusion center
Onsite CBCs
Recruitment for a full-time physician is ongoing
