Per Diem Physician/Psychiatrist for MAT Clinic

Per Diem Program Physician or Psychiatrist – Springdale, AR MedMark Treatment Centers is dedicated to providing individualized treatment integrating pharmacotherapy, clinical counseling, recovery support and medical services. We deliver medically-supervised services for adults in a variety of modalities and settings. We are looking for a full‑time physician dedicated to helping patients on their road to recovery. Primary Job Function Admitting patients for methadone and buprenorphine treatment. Cover absences for the Medical Director during vacations, addiction meetings, and personal absences. Obtain a history and physical exam. Document and enter orders for methadone dosing in the EMR or write a buprenorphine prescription. Consistently monitor patient dosages in conjunction with the Treatment Center Director, counselors, and dosing nurses. Consult on high‑risk patients and conduct annual medication reviews. Supervise physician assistants and nurse practitioners. Other related duties as determined by supervisor. Qualifications, Education, and Certifications Board‑certified or eligible in any residency. Licensed in the State of Arkansas. At least one year of experience in addiction medicine. Ability to interact compassionately with a diverse population. Successful drug screen and criminal background check.
