We're hiring on behalf of a well-established electrical contractor with over 100 years in business, specializing in electrical systems, structured cabling, integrated security, and building technology solutions. The company has worked on major commercial, infrastructure, and data center projects across the U.S. and internationally.

The Role

The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager and Superintendent with the planning, scheduling, and administration of an assigned project, and may take ownership of specific project components.

Responsibilities

• Review owner contracts and ensure compliance
• Assist with master project schedule and quality control program development
• Support contract buyout within 90 days per company policy
• Help develop site-specific safety and quality programs
• Assist with site logistics planning
• Participate in and document the punch list process
• Coordinate and document owner training
• Prepare O&M manuals and warranties
• Assist with managing project costs against budget
• Manage schedule updates
• Participate in project planning meetings
• Help identify risks affecting cost, schedule, or owner satisfaction
• Assist with monthly project status reports and executive summaries

Requirements

• Four-year Construction/Engineering degree, or equivalent combination of technical training xhyhwjd and experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, design, finance, or management
• 2+ years' experience with a commercial electrical contractor
• Proficiency with Primavera, Expedition, CGC CMS, MS Word, Excel, and AIA Contract Documents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, quality control, and construction documents
