Juvenile Justice Data Analyst

The Orleans Parish Juvenile Court Data Analyst serves as the lead data strategist and case management systems administrator for the Court. This position is responsible for advancing OPJC's commitment to data-informed decision-making, operational transparency, performance accountability, and equitable outcomes for youth and families. The Data Analyst ensures that the agency's juvenile case management system functions as both an operational tool and a performance management platform across intake, detention alternatives, probation, and court coordination functions. The role supports OPJC leadership, supervisors, and judicial partners by delivering timely, accurate, and actionable data to inform policy, practice, and system reform. This position plays a critical role in strengthening collaboration between Orleans Parish Juvenile Court, Louisiana Supreme Court, Louisiana Office of Juvenile Justice, Juvenile Justice and Intervention Center, City of New Orleans and service providers Core Responsibilities 1 . Case Management System Administration & Governance Serve as OPJC's primary administrator for the juvenile case management system, Configure workflows, fields, dashboards, user permissions, and reporting structures. Ensure data integrity through required fields, validation rules, and standardized coding practices. Develop and manage automated reports and dashboards aligned with OPJC performance priorities. Coordinate with City of New Orleans IT and external vendors regarding upgrades, integration, and troubleshooting. Support system integration efforts, including cross-platform data sharing and service bus initiatives where applicable 2. Data-Driven Decision Support for OPJC Leadership Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to OPJC leadership. Facilitate structured data review segments during management meetings. Provide real-time reporting and analysis related to: Experience administering a juvenile justice or court-based case management platform. Knowledge of juvenile justice operations including probation, detention alternatives, intake, and court coordination. Experience developing dashboards and performance reporting tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience working within Louisiana parish or municipal government structures. Knowledge of juvenile court processes and judicial reporting requirements. Experience with system integration, API data exchange, or enterprise data environments. Experience supporting grant-funded initiatives. Familiarity with validated risk assessment tools used in juvenile justice settings.
