Litigation ParalegalNational law firm seeking a skilled litigation paralegal for their NWA office. The successful candidate will be able to provide assistance during all phases of the litigation process including conducting interviews, legal research, document filing and attending trials.ResponsibilitiesConduct pre-claim investigation, legal research and initial case assessmentsDraft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the courtPerform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics etc)Maintain pleadings and discovery indexesOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendicesAid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requestsGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesProvide assistance with case settlementsSkillsProven working experience as a litigation paralegalApplicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, practices etcHighly organized with ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong writing and communication skills along with attention to detailExtensive computer and database expertiseParalegal associates degree or other relevant certification/experience$50k - $60k (flexible DOE) Excellent benefits, PTO, Holiday Pay, Retirement and plenty of room for growth!
