Overview The Disaster Program Delivery Specialist: Collects, coordinates and/or reviews applicant data to determine eligibility and priority of assignments, including audits for completeness, reviewing information from the Preliminary Damage Assessment (PDA), making exploratory calls to applicants, and understanding each applicant’s projects and recovery priorities. Supports the communication process with the applicant about their status by scheduling regular meetings, tracking and following up with FEMA’s requests. Coordinates transmittal of documents through FEMA’s Consolidated Resource Centers using a web-based tool, schedules site inspections with the applicants and Site Inspector Task Force Leader, and identifies when technical expertise may be needed during the program delivery process. Supports the claims process by reviewing and validating damage details, scopes of work, and costs with the applicant. Participates in regular FEMA meetings by providing updates on work status and may evaluate claims and make recommendations to FEMA on eligibility. Assists with the development of the Determination Memo and communicates final determinations to applicants during close out. Conducts an exit briefing with the applicant. Performs other duties as required. May coordinate and complete basic to moderately complex site inspections to validate and record damage to assist in the FEMA Public Assistance grant delivery process. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Domestic travel is required. 5 years of in-field experience (2 years of in-field experience with a bachelor’s degree). Visa Sponsorship: No - We will not support sponsorship (e.g., H-1B or TN) Background Check: CDM Smith reserves the right to require background checks and drug testing as applicable. Travel: 100% Pay & Benefits Pay Range: Minimum $27.30 – Maximum $48.30 Additional Compensation: Bonuses are discretionary and may or may not apply. Work Location: Office and field locations as needed. Driver's License: An appropriate and valid driver's license is required.
