Production Maintenance Supervisor

Location: 605 Territorial Dr Bolingbrook, IL 60440  
Work Hours: 7am - 5pm, with expected additional hours/weekends/on-call mandatory.  
Pay: Starting at $45, per hour based on experience and skills

What we are looking for:  
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading the facility's maintenance department, ensuring all production and building equipment operates at peak reliability and efficiency. This individual oversees a team of mechanics across skill levels and shifts, balancing reactive break/fix response with a proactive, structured preventative maintenance program. 

What you’ll do:  

• Lead day-to-day activities of the maintenance department across all shifts. 

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventative maintenance (PM) program. 

• Act as the primary escalation point for complex equipment failures. 

• Establish and manage a work order system to capture, assign, and close maintenance requests. 

• Partner with production supervisors to schedule maintenance around production windows. 

• Manage relationships with equipment manufacturers, third-party vendors, and parts suppliers. 

• Maintain appropriate inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies. 

• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. 

• Monitor key maintenance metrics and report findings and trends to leadership. 

• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring failures and implement corrective actions. 

• Recruit, onboard, and develop maintenance personnel. 

• Support capital equipment projects including installation and commissioning. 

Who you are:

• 7+ years of progressive industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience 

• 2+ years in a supervisory role. 

• Broad technical knowledge across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. 

• Experience building or managing a structured preventative maintenance program. 

• Familiarity with CMMS and work order platforms. 

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or vocational certification preferred. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises Maintenance Tier 1 and Tier 2 mechanics. 

Work Environment: Position operates in a regulated manufacturing print/mail production facility 

Physical Demands:  

• Stand and walk for up to 12 hours, with frequent bending, kneeling, and reaching  

• Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds 

• Perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced production environment 

Security Clearance: Amsive is a Federal Contractor, and this position may require government security clearance for certain projects.
