Physical Therapist

Essentia Health is seeking a compassionate and patient-centered Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide evidence-based physical therapy evaluation and treatment to patients across a variety of conditions, including orthopedic, neurologic, post-surgical, and chronic health needs. Working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation professionals, you will develop and implement individualized plans of care that support patients in restoring function, improving mobility, managing pain, and enhancing quality of life. You will perform comprehensive assessments, establish functional goals in partnership with patients and families, and utilize a range of therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, and patient education. You will document care in the electronic health record in a timely and accurate manner, ensure continuity and coordination of services, and communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team about progress and ongoing needs. You will participate in case conferences, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and help implement best practices and innovative approaches to rehabilitation.
