WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR The ideal candidate: Loves interacting with people and creating memorable guest experiences Is dependable, punctual, and committed to showing up ready to work Takes initiative and is willing to jump in wherever needed Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys staying busy Has strong communication skills and a friendly, welcoming personality Can perform basic math and follow recipes accurately Values teamwork and understands that every task contributes to the guest experience Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional environment Understands that great hospitality goes beyond making drinks—it includes serving guests, stocking products, cleaning, and supporting the team WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Barista, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences by: Greeting customers with a friendly, positive attitude Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently using our Toast POS system Preparing coffee, espresso beverages, and other café drinks Decorating and preparing bakery products before opening each day Maintaining an attractive, fully stocked bakery display Restocking products from coolers and storage areas throughout the day Assisting with inventory deliveries and product organizationCleaning tables, display cases, beverage stations, and other front-of-house areas Following food safety, sanitation, time and temperature, and quality standards Working collaboratively with teammates to keep operations running smoothly Helping create a warm, welcoming environment that keeps guests coming back This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day and is willing to help wherever needed to ensure an exceptional guest experience. WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE Positive and passionate attitude High sense of integrity, accountability, and ownership Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) Ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow direction Ability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds Ability to assist with inventory deliveries, stocking, and product movement Adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines Experience with Toast POS, Starbucks, Dunkin', or other coffee-focused establishments is a plus High emotional intelligence and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and guests Commitment to being a team player who contributes to a collaborative and engaged workplace Commitment to representing the Paris Baguette brand with professionalism and enthusiasm No barista experience? No problem. We provide training for motivated candidates who have a strong customer-service mindset.
