This job was posted by : For moreinformation, please see: Driver (Tractor Trailer)- CDL A EveningsJob DescriptionPBNA $83000 / yearPosition drives a tractor/trailer truck to make local regionaldeliveries (up to 275 mile radius) of predominantly finished products orraw materials/supplies to company distribution and manufacturingcenters. Obtains proper authorization for all deliveries/spects vehicle for proper and safe operating conditions before andafter each trip. Must maintain a DOT driver's log and adhere to all DOTregulations. Position requires working tractor/trailer components,including bending and cranking landing gear as well as climbing in andout of cabs and sitting for extended periods of time. This is no touchfreight work and driver will be home daily.PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Deliver finished products or raw materials to assigned destination Ensure safety and compliance of load Maintain DOT driver log and other required transport documentation Regular, reliable, predictable attendance Pre/Post InspectionsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: 21 years or older Pass DOT physical and DOT Road Test Valid U.S. CDL License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500accident-free hours Follow DOT RegulationsHELPFUL EXPERIENCE: Operating trucks requiring a Valid U.S. CDL Class A license (e.g.,driving forwards, driving backwards, maneuvering in tight spaces,dropping and hooking, operating landing gear, or backing into docks andconfined spaces, etc.) Hauling consumer products and perishable consumer goods (e.g.,transporting unstable loads or hauling different weights on differenttrip segments, etc.) Operating a tractor-trailer in different conditions (e.g., highwaydriving, side/local roads, city/country, maneuvering in tight spaces,etc.) Valid Class A CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status (withHazMat/Double and Tanker endorsements)Because the material job duties of this role involve regular field work(away from a physical Company location), including visiting customerlocations and interfacing with employees, vendors, and customers of theCompany, and the general public -- following a conditional offer ofemployment, the Company has good cause to conduct a review of criminalhistory in accordance with applicable laws to ensure safety.
