DevOps Engineer

Job Description Johnson & Johnson is hiring a DevOps Engineer for the Engineering Productivity Team. The role focuses on improving engineering efficiency by supporting build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and core software development lifecycle components. Key Responsibilities Support the software development lifecycle through CI/CD pipeline development Advance and improve build and general support infrastructure Develop provisioning and deployment strategies Support AWS cloud infrastructure Work with engineering teams to support their business requirements Support monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery systems Build and support engineering metrics pipelines, dashboards, and data reporting workflows to improve visibility into system health and developer productivity Evaluate and enable AI‑based tools, LLM‑driven workflows, and automation opportunities within software development and DevOps environments Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience Experience and Skills 2+ years of experience in DevOps or related field Experience with CI/CD pipeline support and development using Jenkins and/or GitLab Experience with cloud and containerization technologies such as AWS and Docker Experience with Python and Bash Experience with code repository management, code merge, and code quality checks Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch, or similar tools Experience building or supporting engineering metrics pipelines, dashboards, and data reporting workflows Familiarity with AI tools, LLM-based workflows, and automation use cases in software development or DevOps environments Preferred Experience with QNX, Yocto, and Linux Experience working in medical devices Experience with CMake Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform Experience with Artifactory and SonarQube Experience supporting AI or ML workloads, data pipelines, or related infrastructure Other This role may require up to 10% travel. Compensation The base pay range for this position is $106,000.00 – $170,200.00.
