Job Description As a Security Officer Unarmed Zone Patrol in Seattle, WA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming atmosphere through strong communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Thur: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Fri: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sat: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM Sun: 01:00 PM - 09:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem- solving manner and report observations according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unwanted activity. Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unauthorized access, and communicate with store personnel, visitors, and/or local responders when needed. Support retail loss prevention efforts by documenting incidents, observing customer and employee activity, and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
