Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Clerk in Fairmont, WV for a local industrial company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced billing, accounting, or accounts receivable professional looking for a stable, long-term position in a professional work environment.
The Billing Clerk will be responsible for processing bills, preparing customer invoices, maintaining accurate billing records, and transferring financial information between E2 software and QuickBooks .
Billing Clerk Responsibilities
- Scan, review, and process bills accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and send customer invoices by email and mail.
- Transfer financial and billing information from E2 software into QuickBooks .
- Perform accurate billing and financial data entry .
- Maintain organized and up-to-date billing records.
- Verify invoice information for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure invoices and billing documents are processed in a timely manner.
- Assist with general accounts receivable and accounting support as needed.
- Research and resolve basic billing discrepancies.
- Meet billing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Previous billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, or accounting clerk experience preferred.
- Experience using third-party billing software .
- Proficiency with QuickBooks .
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Experience with E2 software is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable handling financial information and maintaining accurate records.
- Starting pay of $17.00 per hour , based on experience.
- Full-time weekday position.
- Monday through Friday schedule .
- Flexible scheduling with the workday finished by 5:00 PM.
