Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and compassionate Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Technologist) to join our outpatient imaging team at Ezra Medical Center. This role plays a vital part in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality care in a professional clinical environment.

The ideal candidate is committed to excellence in imaging practices, follows strict safety protocols, and enjoys working collaboratively with providers and clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Imaging Services

• Perform outpatient X-ray examinations as ordered by providers.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Educate patients about imaging procedures to ensure understanding and cooperation.

Clinical Operations

• Operate X-ray equipment in accordance with radiation safety standards and best practices.
• Perform basic equipment checks and report malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure imaging areas are clean, organized, and prepared for patient use.

Compliance and Safety

• Adhere to HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, and clinic policies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures.
• Uphold Ezra Medical Center’s standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Licensure & Certification

• New York State Radiologic Technologist License (Diagnostic Radiography).
• ARRT Certification (RT(R)).

Experience

• Experience in outpatient or ambulatory imaging preferred.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Familiarity with digital radiography systems and PACS preferred.
