As a RN with Brightstar Care of Plano/North Dallas you will:

Responsible for providing home health clinical services

Responsible for quality; adequacy of services provided and may, where required, supervise staff.

Perform care as defined by client's individual Plan of Care and within scope of state's nurse practice act

Monitor patient's condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes

Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill

Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws

Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs

Must be willing to do both visits and shifts as assigned

As a RN you will need:

Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas

2- 5 years of infusion experience preferred

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen

Proof of eligibility to work in the US

Reliable car and auto insurance

Pass state and federal criminal record check(s)

Current CPR/BLS

Recent (within the last year) TB/Chest X-ray on record

wound care experience

Lab draws and PICC care experience

Port experience is a plus

Willing to see patients in all locations as assigned
