This position requires an M.D. or D.O. with a personable and proficient in relationship building to help create a positive atmosphere. They will have the opportunity to comprehensively care for their patients within our multidisciplinary organization. The M.D. must also be comfortable communicating with agents of payors for utilization review and request authorizations./ppWhat you will do:/ppComprehensive chronic pain care of the patients/pulliMedication management includes weaning within the current standards of care./liliEvaluating patients with a multidisciplinary team to determine which candidates are appropriate for enrollment in various care programs within the organization or a referral to others./liliAnalyze reports, test results, medical records, and examinations to diagnose any condition of patients and propose treatment options./liliDiscuss potential side effects of medication/treatment with patients and ensure that all allergy information is up to date before prescribing medication/treatment./liliProvide advice to patients for lifestyle and dietary changes that may improve their health or help to treat the health issue they are experiencing./liliAdhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives, safety, environmental, and infection control standards./liliMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws./liliRecord complete, timely and legible medical records./li/ulpQualifications:/pp Licensure/polliCalifornia Board Certified Physician License or Board Eligible Pain Resident/Fellow/liliCurrent Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration, for prescription writing/li/olpCompensation Range:/pp$275,000 to $400,000 Annually (plus productivity bonuses and incentives)/ppAll compensation ranges are posted based on internal equity, job requirements, experience, and geographical locations./ppBoomerang Healthcare is a leader in cutting-edge pain management techniques and rehabilitation programs that set the standard in holistic approaches for managing chronic pain.
