ARDDMS General Sonographer
Full-Time
MLR is seeking a dedicated and skilled General Ultrasound Technician to join our team. In this role, you will carry out a variety of ultrasound procedures, delivering high-quality imaging and outstanding patient care.
Key Responsibilities for a Sonographer:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations and procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular studies.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
Qualifications for a Sonographer:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification is required.
- Proficiency in various ultrasound techniques and equipment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
