Guidance Counselor

Job Description The Yeshivah of Flatbush Joel Braverman High School, a premier Modern Orthodox yeshivah located in the heart of Brooklyn, is seeking a Guidance Counselor / Grade Team Member for the 2026–2027 school year. Our high school inspires students to grow into adults committed to Torah Values and empowered to impact the world. Responsibilities Serve as a core member of a three-person grade leadership team. Work closely with the Grade Principal and Grade Dean to support the academic, social-emotional, and overall development of a grade cohort. Provide individual counseling to students. Coordinate academic support, including familiarity with IEPs and evaluations. Teach two sections of AP Psychology. Qualifications Master's level degree in a mental health-related field (Psychology/School Psychology preferred). Strong understanding of adolescent development. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build strong relationships with students, faculty, and families. Passion for student advocacy and ability to teach AP Psychology at a high level.
