Social Media & Marketing Manager Burn Boot Camp – Eden Prairie, MN Part-Time | 10–15 Hours per Week | $18–$20 per Hour Are you creative, organized, and passionate about using social media and community marketing to grow a business and make a meaningful impact? Burn Boot Camp Eden Prairie is seeking a part-time Social Media & Marketing Manager who can take ownership of our local marketing efforts, strengthen our online presence, and turn creative ideas into qualified leads and new memberships. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, highly accountable, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision. You should understand how to create engaging content, build genuine community connections, and use social media, local partnerships, events, referrals, and organic marketing to drive measurable business growth. Formal marketing experience is not required if you can demonstrate strong skills, creativity, initiative, and an understanding of what makes content effective. Key Responsibilities Social Media and Content Creation Plan and execute our social media content calendar, including grid posts, Stories, and Reels Film, edit, and publish engaging content using platforms such as Instagram, Canva, and CapCut Create content that reflects the energy, culture, and mission of Burn Boot Camp Capture and share member transformation stories, testimonials, gym experiences, and community highlights Monitor social media trends and identify creative ways to increase reach, engagement, and qualified leads Engage with new followers through thoughtful messages and invitations to experience Burn Boot Camp Attend a monthly call with our advertising agency to stay current on social media trends, campaigns, and content needs Update our in-gym ScreenCloud content weekly Local and Community Marketing Identify, coordinate, and attend community booths, events, and partnership opportunities that can increase brand awareness and lead flow Plan, promote, and execute quarterly in-gym community events Develop and execute referral rewards and campaigns that encourage member participation Organize community giveaways designed to build relationships and generate new leads Help plan and execute monthly marketing promotions, contests, and giveaways that support membership growth Build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community partners Track marketing activities and evaluate which efforts generate engagement, leads, gym visits, and memberships What We’re Looking For Strong knowledge of Instagram, Canva, Edits, and short-form video creation Confidence filming, editing, writing, and publishing social media content Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Strong personal accountability and the ability to meet deadlines without frequent supervision Self-motivated and comfortable turning ideas into action An understanding of how social media and community marketing can generate leads and grow a business Comfortable starting conversations online and personally inviting prospective members into the gym Passion for health, fitness, community, and serving others Willingness to track results and adjust strategies based on performance Ability to occasionally work evenings or weekends for events Formal education or professional marketing experience is not required. We care most about your skills, creativity, initiative, communication, and ability to follow through.
